Kakihara industries co., ltd preempted "REACH" restriction in Europe and tackled to investigation for hexavalent chromium-free in early stage. Mass production of the trivalent chromium in the film forming process of resin plating has already been implemented. Our development for the etching process also succeeded and currently aiming for achievement for hexavalent chromium-free at mass production process. Furthermore, investigation of cobalt-free are underway for trivalent chromium chemical conversion treatment which has already been introduced synthesis metal plating process.

The case of color tone including the platinum satin series to be adopted as master design to the luxury car show no sign of significant decline. The design thinking is emphasized and always expecting the future trend of color tone for developing. Moreover, we tackle to challenging color tone like delicate nuance of color and obtained the nomination from designer of car manufacturer. We thoroughly adhere to the genuineness to develop the color tone which drastically increase the designability and intend to expand some variation.

Dreamy new material! Water absorbability can be solved by metallizing
Cellulose, as inexhaustible resources available in Japan. Resin that is made by mixture with cellulose nanofiber(NCV) which is extracted from wood is called dreamy new material due to having the characteristics of light weight and toughness. [NCV project] for the purpose of manufacturing the automobile is currently proceed with ministry of the environment. The only weakness is water absorbility, but this weakness can be covered by metallizing on the surface of the product and even new functions such conductibility and abrasion resistance can be added.

Wet plating method is mainstream, but limited for applicable material. On the other hand, dry process plating method is known as environment-friendly and allows metallzing to hardship materials. Dry and wet multiple technology was developed with unconventional idea based on the concept to expand wide range of possibility if these 2 process can be integrated. It is expected as metallizing technology for leading the solution of various problems of automobiles with sensors.
